Gardening Consultations

Where it starts.

For Paula, food as medicine starts in the soil, not the pantry. One-on-one gardening consultations across the Greater Phoenix Area, Arizona: the same root-cause thinking that shapes the nutrition practice, applied to what's growing in your own yard.

Is this available where you are?

Consultations are available throughout Maricopa County, Arizona.

Sessions can be virtual or in person, decided together based on what your garden actually needs. An in-person visit more than 30 miles from Paula's business address carries a $50 travel charge.

What we'll work on together

  • Plant selection
  • Troubleshooting existing gardens
  • Planning new gardens
  • Seasonal guidance
  • Indoor and outdoor gardening
  • Raised-bed vs. in-ground decisions

Consultations aren't limited to a single visit. Ongoing coaching is available for anyone who wants continued support as their garden develops.

What to expect

A consultation is a real, one-on-one conversation about your specific space, not a generic plant list.

Every consultation includes an initial site visit or digital/phone session, garden planning and design, and a final design and recommendation presentation and review. Sessions are billed at $50 per hour rather than a fixed length.

There's no cancellation or rescheduling policy in place. A $50 no-show fee applies to any missed scheduled session.
